Smoke and Fire of the Mountain of God

Smoke and Fire of the Mountain of God by Sheri Hauser is a collection of inspirational Christian poetry.
Book Review:

This poetry book resonates more powerfully than most spiritual poetry books, as the pieces converge at pivotal points on the page. It is concrete poetry. The poems explore themes of faith, God's love, spiritual growth, and personal relationship with God. It reflects the author's journey of faith and artistic expression, urging others to walk closer to God.

Why Follow Christ

Why Follow Christ by Bradford Rian Taylor is a book offering ethical apologetics and clear answers about the Christian faith.

Book Review:

Bradford Rian Taylor has penned a critical book for anyone with questions related to their faith. The author presents logical statements supporting belief in God, the divine authorship of the Bible evidenced by fulfilled prophecy and the unity of its text, and God's nature as infinitely loving and perfectly just. I found it to be useful in summarizing the gospel in a short book. He avoids religious gibberish.

Joy the Car that Went Bump Ditty Bump

The Car That Went Bumpity Bump  by Althea P. Jones is a heartfelt tale dedicated to the author's granddaughters.

Book Review:

This book takes a chunk of history and makes it come to life in a 1936 Cadillac. The restoration of the car named Joy is described as a labor of love and faith, involving many dedicated people and symbolizing a connection with God’s virtues. It was delightful to go with Althea’s granddaughters as they enjoyed the adventure riding in the vintage car down Main Street in Las Vegas.

The Silver Cup

The Silver Cup by Christopher Fox

Book Review:

This is one of Christopher Fox’s great works. It chronicles the author's turbulent life journey from a chaotic childhood marked by addiction, betrayal, and trauma to eventual sobriety and transformation through faith and twelve-step recovery. He shows the power of trust in God to guide and sustain through hardships. He is an inspiration to us all. Five Stars.
